Description

Black and white image of the entrance to Thurles Golf Club, previously Turtulla House. There was a house on this site marked on Roques map in 1755 and the house was refurbished by William Tinsley of Clonmel in the mid 19th century. It was acquired by the Thurles golf club in 1944 and remains in use as a club house to the present (2023). 1973
